Any advice for someone getting into day/swing trading?
I am getting into day swing trading. I am a year into an MBA curriculum and have THOROUGHLY enjoyed every class that has even remotely been related to finance. Granted, a trader this does not make I am currently reading " A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online" by Toni Turner and plan on following it up with the list of books she recommends. I am also interested in reading " High Probability ETF Trading" by Connors, Alvarez, and Penn.Regardless, what would you tell a complete trading newb to do if you could do it all over again?

What does long and short mean in swing trading? See details....?
I'm a new stock investor. I came across a website that explains their services as " The purpose of our 'Swing Trades' is to give short term stock investors a list of stocks for swing trading that have a profit potential, Long or Short over a period of one week." What does the long and short mean in relation to this sentence? Please explain how you use these in trading relating to how they used it in their sentence. Your help is greatly appreciated Thanks
Does anyone who plays the stock market swing trade or day trade if so I have a few questions for you?
I am 22 years old and a college student. I just recently got into the stock market game of day trading and swing trading. My four thousand dollar investment has grown into a two thousand dollar profit. Based on what you have witnessed and from your own personal knowledge do stock always generally go up and down. One week they close at 1.55 and three weeks later close at 2.00 dollars.
Should I Swing Trade?
I am 20 years old and so I am considering a more risky investment plan. I am considering doing something like 80 % long term investing and 20 % of my portfolio for swing trading.but first I'd like to hear some of your views on the subject and personal experience.. I'd really like to know what book to start with and just how many people succeed in swing investing, also how much yield should be expected in this approach.THANK YOU
